Typical installed price after the STC rebate is $3,000-$4,500 for a 270L unit suitable for a family of 4. Sticker price $4,500-$5,500; rebate $800-$1,200 off.
Most electric and gas swap-outs are 2-4 hours. Heat pump installs are 4-6 hours because of the outdoor unit and pipework.

Depends on your situation. Mains gas + average usage → gas instantaneous wins on upfront. No gas, or want lowest running cost over 10 years → heat pump. We'll talk it through on-site with your actual numbers.
Usually a failed element or thermostat. We diagnose on-site in 15-20 minutes and replace the same visit if we have stock (we usually do).
